*The Art Date: Each student will be required to hand in a paragraph describing an art date held over the weekend. An art date is a one hour time period spent alone drawing information into the student's creative well. This may be a visit to a museum or gallery, time spent observing and absorbing nature, watching a film, drawing, etc. The art date must be attended by the student alone if at all possible, but, if not, then it should be with someone from the drawing class.
